The best games on PC Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is one of the best deals in gaming. For a low monthly cost, you gain instant access to hundreds of the best games on the market. However, the catalog for Game Pass varies between console and PC. That means some of the titles Xbox Series X players can access aren’t available for folks on PC.

Nonetheless, there’s still a wide variety of incredible games for PC Game Pass. This includes the recently released Immortality, controversial Death Stranding, quirky platformer Tinykin, and many more. From RPGs and shooters to strategy and card games, here are the best titles on PC Game Pass.

Jump into a sprawling, Greek mythology-inspired open world as you battle mythological beings and try to save the gods. The sprawling action RPG offers close to 100 hours of content to explore — ranging from mind-bending puzzles to frantic boss fights. It all looks stunning, too, with a colorful art style and explosive special effects, making every battle a feast for the eyes. It sticks a bit close to the Ubisoft formula (that is, you’ll find a map loaded with side-quests), but Fenyx Immortals Rising is a great game if you need something to keep you busy until the next big release.

Several Dragon Age games have been launched in its wake, but Origins remains one of the best entries in the series. Its sweeping narrative will take you across a wide range of biomes to meet a motley cast of characters, but its real-time combat is the main draw. You’ll be in control of a small band of warriors, mages, and rangers, and — while the action takes place in real time — you’re free to pause the game whenever you’d like, giving you a chance to strategize or zoom in for a closer look at the battlefield. As a wild mash-up of old-school Zelda and Dark Souls, Tunic often feels like a game from another era. Very few directions are thrown your way at the start of the game — and you don’t even start with a sword or shield to protect yourself. Instead, you’ll need to explore every inch of the mysterious world to discover new weapons, what you’re objectives are, and how to overcome its enemies. Combat is surprisingly difficult too and revolves around a stamina-based dodging system. If you don’t mind figuring things out as you go, Tunic offers some of the most fun you’ll have with PC Game Pass.

Rainbow Six Siege exploded onto the scene in 2015 and quickly became an esports powerhouse. The years since have been kind to the FPS, with dozens of updates adding new maps, new characters, and new gear to unlock and experiment with. Two teams are pitted against each other in quick matches that offer no respawning, and destructible environments mean no two rounds ever play out the same. The tense action is best experienced with a few friends and a pregame strategy, although everyone can enjoy some casual chaos with its solo matchmaking.
